Tony Lazzarini, Director
Arabian Silk: Horses of Endurance is Mr. Lazzarini's first endeavor as director in
a full-length documentary. In a recent interview with the American Authors
Association he states, "I didn't know filmmaking was such a strenuous
profession. We carried our film gear up mountain sides and down gullies from
the rocky mountains of Nevada to the lush green bug infested hills of
Karuizawa, Japan. I saw some beautiful country and Christine (Lazzarini) caught
it all in the lens of her camera".
Mr. Lazzarini is the author of two award winning books; "Highest Traditions-
Memories of War" and "Never Trust a Man in Curlers" and a prize winning
musical stage play "Tale of the Toy Soldier". He also wrote and directed the
short film "Highest Traditions", which won best short documentary of 2006,
awarded by the Military Writers Society of America.

Christine Lazzarini has produced "Critical Mass - The Obesity Epidemic" (2005) a
feature documentary, presenting the issues of obesity in the U.S. and how it
impacts the healthcare system.
"Highest Traditions-Memories of War" (2006) a short documentary based on the
book of the same name, about a helicopter door gunner in Vietnam. This title
won best short documentary in 2006, awarded by the Military Writers Society of
In 2007, she produced "Sale Day" a short documentary showcasing the Alliance
with the Washoe County Medical Society's Annual Rummage Sale. It shows how
this organization overcomes obstacles eg; lack of volunteers and the escalating
costs of putting on this fundraiser. Their 56 successful consecutive years is due
mostly to the camaraderie witnessed during the week long event.
"Faux Paw's Adventures in the Internet" (2008) is a short skit based on the
book of the same name. The storyline is geared toward 4th graders
enlightening them about the dangers of the Internet.
Ms. Lazzarini has been studying at the UCLA extension program, on various
aspects of filmmaking since 2005.
