About the programme

The 2-year MSc programme in European Environmental Economics and Policy (M3EP) prepares you to take on one of the most complex and demanding policy areas for EU and its member states in the 21st century: The green transition.

You will gain a firm disciplinary and interdisciplinary footing in both environmental economics, and environmental policy and politics.

This enables you to effectively design, implement, and analyse policy solutions for the complex environmental challenges that European and international societies face today. 

European Environmental Economics and Policy (M3EP) is an Erasmus Mundus-programme with special rules for admission and application.

What specialisations does the field of study offer?

Students can specialize in Advanced Environmental Economics, Climate Change and Energy Economics, Economics of Green and Just Transition, Comparative Environmental Policy, or Policies and Politics of Green Transition. All the specializations are inherently interdisciplinary. The multi-university setup allows for diverse elective choices and exposure to different policy contexts.
